The sponges are pre-saturated with the enzymatic detergent; allowing the technician to evenly apply the detergent over the probe surface. This will provide longer contact time with biofilm and contaminants so the detergent can help break them down. The TEEZyme enzymatic sponges are designed for TOE probes and are lint free, latex free and dust free making them an ideal solution for point of care cleaning of TOE ultrasound probes.
